Read AI Introduces a Botless Integration with Google Meet

Read AI is now the best option for notetaking in Google Meet, after it was the first in the world to build and launch on the new Meet Media API. The botless version is available for free for all new and existing customers with a simple update.

By working directly with Google and using the latest API from Google Meet, Read AI customers uniquely experience meetings in Google Meet without a notetaking bot taking up screen space. The notification of meeting measurement occurs before the recording begins to solicit consent.

How to Use Read AI in Google Meet

1. Navigate to the read.ai integrations page  
2. Choose to “Connect” Google Meet, and grant the required permissions. 
3. If you have auto-join enabled, Read AI will join your next Google meeting.
4. Click “Start Recording” to capture the meeting. No bots required.
5. After the call, you’ll get a summary and transcript automatically.
