Read AI launches recurring Pix payments, deepening its focus on Brazil amid 220% annual growth

December 5, 2025

In recognition of widespread growth and adoption of Read AI in Brazil, and the preference of Pix as a preferred method for managing digital services, Read AI now offers recurring and automatic Pix payments for all subscriptions in Brazil. The capability was first announced in one of Brazil’s leading news publications, Terra.

“Recurring Pix represents an important step in our strategy, showing how committed we are to Brazil for the long term. The country’s fast-growing innovation ecosystem makes it one of Read AI's most exciting markets globally. To deliver for our customers, we’re offering the most widely-adopted and convenient payment option, plus our recently launched Android and Windows apps, delivering across the most popular platforms in the country,” said David Shim, Co-Founder and CEO of Read AI.

Read AI's Growth in Brazil, By the Numbers:

  • The number of weekly active users in Brazil has grown more than 220% over the past year, doubling in just the last six months.
  • Total meetings held on the platform increased by 200% over the same period.
  • Among new users, the country also shows rapid adoption, with 168% year-over-year growth.

Since the launch of Pix payments, usage among active card users is growing faster than any other payment behavior in Brazil, with adoption compounding week over week as Read AI's growth continues to accelerate.

With the launch of Recurring Pix, Read AI further integrates into Brazil’s digital ecosystem and strengthens its presence at a time of rapid AI adoption throughout Latin America. In the Fall, Read AI launched its Android and Windows versions to the market (in addition to MacOS and iPhone) and its Agentic Workflow Suite, a set of intelligent, turn-key agents that understand users’ workflows across channels, is also available on all platforms.

“Windows is the largest operating system for PCs in use in Brazil, and the same goes for Android,” says Shim, “We’re launching our full suite, including our agents, on these two operating systems to show our deep commitment to the region,” he explained to Mobile Time in an exclusive interview.

New Research on Brazilian Workers

According to a survey conducted by Read AI in October, 95% of surveyed Brazilians would choose Pix for subscription payments, highlighting faster and instant payment confirmation (41%) and avoiding credit card fees or interest (39%) as the main reasons. Additionally, 33% noted that Pix makes it easier to manage subscriptions directly through their bank, while 30% valued the ability to pay without relying on a credit limit.

Digital fragmentation continues to challenge Brazilian workers. The vast majority (80%) change platforms depending on the project, while 75% move between applications to communicate with different teams. Three out of four also require access to CRMs and spreadsheets in addition to communication channels, as highlighted by TI Inside

A separate analysis conducted within Read AI's platform on meeting behavior across Latin America highlights Brazil’s distinct communication style: highly dynamic, inclusive, and participatory. Brazil leads in overall meeting engagement and shows one of the highest levels of talk-time equity, indicating that more participants actively contribute to discussions.

Brazilians also have the fastest speaking pace in the region (137.75 words per minute) and the lowest use of offensive or non-inclusive language (0.39 terms per meeting), traits that reflect spontaneous, collaborative, and respectful communication.

“Brazilian meeting culture is unique: energetic, collaborative, and highly engaging. These insights have been key in continuously improving the Read AI experience and tailoring it to the way Brazilians work and communicate,” added Shim.
