What's New with Read AI and Microsoft Teams

January 2, 2025

Read AI just launched a major update to our native app for Microsoft Teams, making it easier than ever to use Read with Teams!

Now when you open the Read app in Microsoft Teams, you’ll see a brand-new home page with direct access to your recent meeting reports, live notes for meetings in progress, and controls for adding or removing Read to your upcoming meetings. Reducing steps means saving time as you go about your workday.

Tip: “Pin” the Read app to your Teams navigation pane on the left, so that all of these features are never more than a click away.

With this update, you still get all the standout Read features that you know and love, including:

Recaps of your Recent Meetings

Want to quickly get caught up on what was discussed in a recent call? Just click on a recent meeting from your home page to see the summary, action items, and key questions without ever having to leave Teams! And if you want to see the complete transcript, recording, or Read's detailed meeting metrics, you’ll find a link here to view the full report on Read as well.

Live Dashboard for In Progress Meetings

Ever wanted to keep tabs on a meeting you couldn’t join? Or maybe you joined late and don’t want to disrupt by asking what you missed? With Read's live notes feature, you can see the meeting transcript and bullet-point summaries in real time. You can also use it to monitor your talking speed, filler words, and see the sentiment and engagement scores update live throughout the meeting. Read's live dashboard provides unprecedented insights, making you a true meeting maestro.

Never Miss a Meeting with Read

Check your upcoming events from the Read app to stay on top of your schedule and make sure you never miss out on capturing a meeting with Read. Even if you can’t make it to a meeting yourself, just turn on the “Add Read?” setting and Read will join the call to produce a report for you. You can also disable Read for any meetings you don’t want it to join.
