Read AI Unveils Behavior-Based Agents Designed For The New Cadence of Work

September 17, 2025

September 17, 2025 - Read AI, the fastest-growing meeting notetaker and AI assistant, today announced the launch of its Agentic Workflow Suite. Inspired and informed by Read AI’s proprietary, comprehensive study of sentiment and behaviors from more than 5 million meetings in the U.S. over the past six months, the agentic workflow suite will save users time, reduce meeting overload, and increase productivity. Newly appointed VP of Product Management, Justin Farris, will assist in the rollout and continuing development of this new generation of ultimate workplace assistants.

“Read AI is on a mission to make the workplace better. From happier and more engaged employees, to increased organizational productivity, our agentic workflow suite makes AI agents immediately accessible to the global working population. At GitLab, Justin helped develop the product into the leading DevSecOps platform—we’re excited to work with him to build a similar revolution in the AI assistant category,” says CEO and Co-Founder David Shim.

Read AI's analysis includes observed, empirical data combined with research conducted among American workers and reveals a workplace in a state of flux as AI productivity tools begin to impact working patterns, attitudes, and employee expectations.

In addition to RTO mandates influencing where we work, Read AI's findings show that ‘how’ we work is also changing. Weekly working patterns are shifting, with traditional ‘start of the week’ meetings being moved from Mondays to the middle of the week. As a consequence, individuals who often work with AI productivity tools are nearly 2x more likely to report higher productivity at the start of the week than those who use it less often and are 6x more likely to start the week with clarity and focus compared with non-AI users.

Conversely, engagement in meetings towards the end of the week increases—rather than ‘checking out’ on Fridays, Read AI's meeting analysis suggests that participation and attention are greater as we approach the weekend. Fridays consistently demonstrate the highest levels of engagement at 83% and positive sentiment (76%). Moreover, over 70% of today’s workers reported wanting an AI assistant to help them maximize their potential and better organize their workloads.

The Agentic Workflow Suite is a true AI assistant that amplifies effectiveness and supports its user’s individual goals. It includes:

  • Monday Briefing: a personalized summary of last week’s highlights and upcoming priorities
  • End of Week: a prioritized recap of the week’s most important topics, reminders about open action items and unanswered questions
  • Topics: a summary of ‘can’t-miss’ topics, making it easy to catch up on what’s critical even on back-to-back days
  • Recommendations: a personal prompt, reviewing all work in play, meaning nothing is missed or left unanswered
  • Scheduling: Read AI's scheduler reviews availability with past punctuality and engagement trends, making meetings more effective

Read AI is already working to expand this suite, and will soon launch new tools and agents such as Search Refresh and Vacation Catch up to make Read AI the go-to destination for users wanting to integrate AI into their workflow and increase productivity.

Farris explains: “Just as GitLab is the go-to place for the entire software development process, Read AI is the go-to place where work comes together. I saw first-hand what’s happening in the developer tools space, and see even larger opportunities in the productivity and AI assistant category. Read AI is Cursor for productivity. It’s widely popular, easy to deploy, and transforms how people engage with AI at work.”

Shim concludes: “Enterprises and individuals want work at the speed of AI, and these plug-and-play agents get to work within an hour of implementation. The Monday Briefing agent alone saves the average worker 60 minutes of catch-up time every week and teams can reduce meeting load by 10% within a month. Read AI is built to catalyze AI adoption and eliminate the learning gap that gets in the way of 95% of AI pilot programs.”

“Our vision is to be the ultimate assistant, keeping you in the loop while making next steps as simple as swiping on Tinder,” said Shim.
